The last place I took it in to be cleaned, they offered me money on the spot if I would sell it to them. It seems that there is a demand out there for the older machines that still have metal gears inside.Hairball T. After all, they have sold tables similar to yours. They may even have some spare screws.

Just because Barbie was hard plastic doesn't mean that she didn't have something that attracted GI Joe!Dr. Julie-Annhttp://modernretrowoman.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998366140030113982.post-51095859174041813812009-04-02T14:47:00.000-05:002009-04-02T14:47:00.000-05:00I have no idea...although my grandmother still has...I have no idea...although my grandmother still has a similar machine. A lot of my barbie clothes were homemade, although my barbies did have panties but no bras? (Being older I now really wonder if she wasn't uncomfortable, being so well endowed) Now I think they are printed onto the plastic. The Gossiperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05106245536111802474noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998366140030113982.post-85955262068467384302009-04-02T10:49:00.000-05:002009-04-02T10:49:00.000-05:00Oh, I wish I could help, that sounds So frustratin...Oh, I wish I could help, that sounds So frustrating! (I have lost all sorts of things when we've moved in the past). My mother had a 1960? Singer that folds down into a sewing table, quite similar to yours. And she made all my dolls' clothes and all of mine and hers, too, on that machine. I can't sew for beans, though, except to mend the odd T shirt!Lidianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14609618027313982020noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6998366140030113982.post-8744697927315061182009-04-02T09:01:00.000-05:002009-04-02T09:01:00.000-05:00That's awesome. And I have inherited my grandma's sewing machine, too, but it's not the same kind as yours.Heather Cherryhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03315027717631291597noreply@blogger.com
