"Someone once told me that time was a predator that stalked us all our lives. I rather believe that time is a companion who goes with us on the journey and reminds us to cherish every moment, because it will never come again. What we leave behind is not as important as how we've lived."

Fa-La-La-La-La, La-La-La-La... Day 19

Today's movie is The Thin Man starring William Powell, Myrna Loy, Maureen O'Sullivan, Nat Pendleton, Minna Gombell, Porter Hall, Henry Wadsworth, William Henry, Harold Huber, and Cesar Romero.

Now some of you may be scratching your heads at this choice. This movie does take place at Christmas time, and that's a a good enough reason to spend some time with Nick and Nora Charles!

Nick Charles: I'm a hero. I was shot twice in the Tribune.
Nora Charles: I read where you were shot 5 times in the tabloids.
Nick Charles: It's not true. He didn't come anywhere near my tabloids.

Plot: A friend of William Powell's has gone missing and is suspected of murder. His daughter, Maureen O'Sullivan, comes to William Powell and asks him to clear her father's name. Plenty of witty banter and cocktails will be served up before the murderer is revealed.
